Are there new E series chassis in the works?I'm down for a new cab design, but Ford doesn't seem to think it's worth the investment. In terms of an all new generation, products like the e-series are a bit of an anomaly. The very thing we and most consumers see as a benefit, a new and updated vehicle, a lot of commercial buyers see as a liability.
Most of the e-series owners and buyers I've met, admittedly a small group, seem to be drawn to outdated old school designs. They want something that's been on the market with minimal changes for a long time, it gives them more confidence in the product, having something old school and that's been "well proven".
