is to say, achieve a 20-25% reduction in emissions (CO2) then a battery
that replaces approximately one third of the total range with electric miles
would probably achieve those objectives.
In order to move heavy loads, a certain amount of energy is required to do that,
whether that is supplied by fuel or stored electric power. A mixture of the two
will reduce the total emissions over the trip but at some point, achieving more
