2025 Ford Taurus getting hybrid powerA few years ago I had one in a rental car for a few days and it had an occasional annoying vibration at low engine speeds under load. Idle didn't bother me, but occasionally when it upshifted and engine RPM was well under 2,000 RPM, it did not run smoothly until speed picked up. In this case I doubt it was caused by mass imbalance due to being a 3-cylinder, though there are other factors that being a 3-cylinder doesn't help.
