A/C failureI am a member on other SuperDuty forums and I am astonished that there are almost no mentions on this forum of the large number of AC failures happening since the turn of the year on SuperDuty trucks. They are being reported in big numbers elsewhere! So here goes:
F450 Chassis Cab, 7.3L gas, manufacture date 8-12 April 24, collected from dealer in Billings MT 19 June, AC failed 950 miles later on 25th June whilst driving through rural Oregon at 100°+. Still waiting on local dealer in Oregon to even diagnose the problem (fortunately I don't need the truck until the end of the year - don't ask, long story). I am told there is at least a months wait on replacement compressors. This is happening a lot on trucks built since the end of 23. What's happening, Ford???Wed, 10 Jul 2024 06:44:56 +0000
