Our summer home round trip falls just between. On the MME I couldn't make it without charging (and at the time there was a single 50kW [DCFS, but slow] on route). The Lightning easily makes it (if I don't do a lot of side trips). That's priceless. People will pay $14k to get carbon fiber wheels on a Dark Horse for cripes sake.
