Electric Vehicle Discussion Thread - Ford Related"Revolution" in the industry may be an appropriate description given electrification battles could soon get bloody. For first time I saw a report that VW is cutting BEV production because of "strong customer reluctance". VW may have different issues than Ford, but growth rate is well below their forecast. Various reports mention or blame higher costs relative to ICE as main culprit. Below is one example.

Additionally, price cuts by some manufacturers may also suggest demand is below expectations. Tesla and VW seem to acknowledge need for cheaper BEVs, yet that's not Ford's strength in North America.
