Two, why would you drive 5 hours and run the battery all the way down? Most people have to use the facilities every few hours anyway, just plug in for 5-10 minutes when you stop for a restroom break. (once the charging infrastructure gets fully built out) Charge it a bit longer when you stop for meals.
