'22 Sept SalesHopefully that helps Ford deal financially with this better than past ones, I've been trying to locate how many people are passing on vehicles that they have ordered at dealerships but other than speaking with a few dealer principals from the same area the data is hard to find.
I do know few people that have decided to pass on a new lease after they see the price of the new one and are just buying their old vehicle, advantage is the dealer seems to be able to move the passed vehicle fairly quickly. It does seem the used car market is also coming back to some sort of reality which means new cars should be there in the next few months. Saw the number of people that have a payment over $1,000 a month is at an all time high (over 13% of buyers) also shows one of the reason why the Maverick is the grand slam hit it has been with prices like those.
