Ford Performance Standalone Harness for the 6.2 GasBecause they are lazy and don't really care about enthusiasts, else they would have had the Coyote kits available a couple years before they did. Also, they would have a kit available to make easy retrofit into older Mod Motor vehicles like chevy did for their LS engines. The only way to do a retrofit, especially in CA is to get an entire donor car and reuse the dash, harnesses, modules, etc., etc.
If they were really interested in gasoline powered performance there are a lot of things they could have easily done or do. It took years for people to break the code to mod the 6 speed auto and to get around the anti-theft in the Coyote ECU, only to have Ford finally release a factory version right after. You'd think they would anticipate the need and demand, it would have kept a lot of LS engines out of Ford chassis over the years.Sun, 05 Dec 2021 21:56:26 +0000
