Ford dealership experiences are really starting to sour on meAgree with almost everything except the trade in situation. Trade in is wholesale. They have to sell it for a few thousand more than they pay you or they don't make any money. Now if you're saying they lowball you even below wholesale then I agree that's distasteful but sometimes they just don't need that particular vehicle or they're not selling well.
