Results, Fact not FictionThose with any common since and some recollection of their mandatory trips to Sunday School might be able to shed a little light on how goofy the opening "prayer" was on Sunday in the second highest chamber in our democracy.
"Amen" or closer to the Latin & Greek "Amin" has an actual meaning and use that has it at being an agreement too or concurrence of the spoken word of prayer or a religious ritual. At times in some denominations it will have leaders ask the question to even highlight this concurrence, "can I hear an Amen".
But at this point in time have we completely lost our way? (actually why did I just ask that?) The prayer Sunday was conclude with a statement of "A man and A Woman" so loosely translated "I agree and concur and a woman"…
Rep. Emanuel Cleaver was our elected representative that gave the all inspiriting prayer.
