Hello,
I have a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 that has been in the family since my grandmother factory ordered it. For the last few years, it has been running hot. I had the radiator flushed and a new thermostat put it. Helped a little but not much. Trying to determine what to do next. I am thinking it could be the that the compression is leaking somewhere or maybe the water pump is bad. I think the temperature gauge is working OK.
Noticed that if the car is sitting pointing down hill...
