I have a 2004 freestar with 127,000 miles on it. I had a pats (passive anti theft system?) Issue (no crank) that was remedied by replacing the pcm and having the existing keys reprogrammed.
Something I noticed since getting the van running again is the radiator cooling fans kick on right after start up and both run continuously on high until the engine is shut off. It doesn't matter if I have the AC (this van also has rear ac, if that matters) on or off.
