Do I actually have two 1967 F-250 Warner T-18 4-speed gearboxes with different gear ratios?

I am swapping transmissions from my tan '67 F-250 to my blue '67 F-250. Both have the Warner T-18 4-speed, the same 240-cid 6-cylinder engine, the same rear-axle ratio (4.56) and the same tire size. Accordingly, I expected no problems. Ha!
Now, after the swap, the speedometer in my blue truck understates the true speed. Worse, the truck's top speed (which, in an emergency, had been about 65 mph) is now barely 55 mph.
I should have taken heed of the different speedometer-cable driven...
