Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes. My accelerator cable broke on my 69 Ford XL. It's a stock 429 4 barrel carburetor. Finding one for a reasonable price is proving difficult. Do any other cables from Ford...or any manufacturer interchange? I guess I could rig one up. I had to do that the other day just to get home. Used clamps to spice together the gas pedal end to an electrical wire to hook up to carburetor. Pretty hokey, but it got me home. Sorry to ramble...
