Hi- I have a 6that originally came with a 289 3 on the tree. It now has a 400 with Boss 351 heads, etc. and a toploader.
Problem is the clutch linkage geometry is terrible.
The z bar is a straight one (no offset for steering box) and whoever set this up has the z bar angling back and down to the mounting bracket on the bellhousing.
There is no way to relocate the engine end forward to straighten it out, as the steering is in the way.
From what I have seen, there is only one version of the...
