I'm looking for a replacement distributor for my 1962 Falcon wagon 170 c.i. engine. I checked the Parts Geek web site and they list a Cardone distributor and state that it fits a 1962 Sedan Delivery 144 engine but don't mention the 170 engine. The Falcon shop manual seems to treat all distributors alike and doesn't make any distinction between the two engines. I don't see why the Cardone distributor for the 144 would not fit the 170 engine in my wagon, but I thought that I'd ask first before...
