When I bought this 2006 Five Hundred it never occurred to me to check on the towing capacity. It looks like a normal sized car but the rated towing capacity is "Wimpy". 1000 pounds is a bicycle trailer, not for carrying them but to tow with a bicycle. My railcar and trailer go 1700 pounds.
