I’m replacing the old regulator on my 59 Ford. I’m not sure why I took off his original, but my problem is the letters on the terminal I just took off and the new one are different.
The old one has the termanils marked left to right, “C” “Bat” “On” (or no).
The new voltage regulator has from left to right,
“Amateur“ “Field” “Battery”
which is the same As the Motors Manual shows. Common sense tells me to just follow the wires in the generator, but those wires are completely different colors...
