another issues with the ford escape now the drivers side ajar light is coming on and off.
you can be driving and the lights going off all the time.
i taken the cover of the door and spray the switch which did help a little but now its going on and off.
just order a new driver Door Lock Actuator from dorman
this possible would explain if the alarm going off because the sensor thinks the door has been opened
but also could the hood switch also be at fault.
