Brand new battery because old one smelt like rotten eggs. I’ve been taking battery cable off daily since purchased car because old battery would go dead . so yesterday noticed rotten egg smell so replaced battery. Today drive half hour to tire store , and home . Noticed new battery was very hot and some liquid on top of battery. I have a new alternator, new cooling system . Just curious what the heck could cause the battery to heat up? Single dad and this is my only car
