Nearby transmission place rebuilt my 2013's transmission, 5-6 years ago and advised to do so again recently.... some googling turns up some litigation over issues... problem common in this and/or later years?
Is an estimate of $2800 replacement, $3000 labor reasonable? My memory which could be wrong is I paid like $3300-3600 last time for everything.
