So I finally find a 1966 that I want to buy. Get it home and start checking things out. No brake lights. It has an updated master cylinder. No wire in engine compartment from old stop switch. Get under the dash and no brake light switch there either. Can't find any wires that have a plug for a stop switch either. Completely baffled. I don't think this car had any brake lights since the new master cylinder was installed about 4 years ago.
