After taking a few months away from thinking about my 2013 Ford Fusion (S) transmission and the P0751 DTC, I've considered the possibility of software causing the problem.
From various other threads, people have gone to the dealer and gotten temporary relief when the computer's PCM was flashed with the latest software and the transmission's lifelong adaptive parameters were reset. If that's truly the case, then perhaps the software designers were unable to accurately predict real world...
