'63 Falcon coil low voltage

Hello! My straight 6 200cc engine's ignition coil's positive wire is only showing around 7 volts when I turn the key on. Battery is a strong 12 volts when measured. I'm slowly getting the engine back together to fire it up and noticed this the other day. Any ideas where to troubleshoot this at? Thank you!

OK - ignore my question I was reading some other threads and realized it is supposed to be that way due to the resistance wire.
