I have a 2013 Fiesta, 1.6 L engine, automatic.
Today I noticed that I have to hold the key in the on position for about a minute and a half before starting the car, otherwise no power seems to go to the starter. It's acting as though the anti-theft system is a bit delayed in recognizing the key.
Some experts suggested leaving the ignition on for 15 minutes to reset the anti-theft system. This works fine for a bit but then re-occurs. The batter was tested and seems to be good,...
