Hello all, I have a 96 F150 short bed reg cab Eddie Bauer edition with a 5.8 liter in it.. I'm going to be doing a full restore basically, and I'm going to put an nv4500 5 speed in it. I'm wondering if anyone here has done the swap in something similar?
Does tuning the ecm eliminate the manual lever positioning sensor and what not? Did you buy a programmed ecm? What else am I looking at that I should know when I tear into this project?
