Mortality rate of COVID-19when you take into account the antibody studies done by Stanford, USC and the State of New York (even with its incomplete sample size) is hovering near 0.5%. Those Fatality numbers also appear to be inflated because of numerous reports across the country of hospitals coding deaths as COVID-19 even without a positive test.
