OK so here is the story. A buddy and I were tuning a bit on the old Falcon. I got it purring yesterday pretty well so all we were trying to do was dial in the idle. I have an old tach lying around so we hooked it up to the battery positive, coil and ground. Maybe it was a coincidence but immediately the car would not start. It would turn over for a moment before stopping and seeming to freeze up. The battery just started the car a moment earlier so the battery seems good. Checked the line...
