I saved a 65 Fairlane from the scrapper with the original A code 289, C-4 automatic transmission, driveshaft and 8 inch rear axle with 3.00 : 1 A-code locking differential still in it. Just couldn't stand to see it go. The Fairlane's hood, trunk lid, maybe a few other panels are salvageable but the pans, rails, lower quarters are shot.
I would love to have a Fairlane, but this not the car for me...I have a lot of...
